At the end of the first 2 charts, I thought that gardening might be a better use of my time than working up a story for the Grist contest. Read the comments of Tunesmyth for some excellent insights-- OTOH, I might need to work on my spiritual life, and there could be some sort of a goddess involved with it. Which of course, leads to more Geomantic questions--
1) Is working on a spiritual discipline the best use of my free time?
I chose the Shield Chart for evaluation. Four mothers are Fortuna Minor, Puer, Laetitia, and Fortuna Major.
Here's the shield chart:

Witness I Amissio
Judge Fortuna Minor
Witness II Conjunctio
Reconciler Populus
Amissio is associated with loss; a figure of Venus. Inside element is Fire, Outside is Earth; Mobile. Loss, love, beauty
F Minor is suddenness/swiftness; A figure of the Sun. Inside element is Fire, Outside is Air; Mobile. Black swans, here and gone, external success
Conjunctio is meeting/coming together; A figure of Mercury. Inside element is Air, Outside is Earth. Intellect and exchanges.
Fire Line: III Laetitia
Air Line: VIII Acquisitio
Water Line: Fortuna Minor-Judge only
Earth Line: Nonspecific
Index: X Puella
Take away message: Starting with a loss, things will come together quickly, but not the way you think they will.
Puella has popped up again as the index, so a female at the root of things...
OK, that was not really what I expected!
2) Is working on Gardening the best use of my spare time?
I chose the Shield chart again for evaluation. Mothers = Acquisitio, Carcer, Carcer, and Fortuna Major;
Here is the Shield Chart:

Witness 1 Conjunctio
Judge Conjunctio
Witness 2 Populus
Reconciler Fortuna Major
Looks over-all positive. Conjunctio with populus as Witness 2 and multiplier may mean that I need to work together with others on this one-- Very sensible. Fortuna Major as reconciler may mean a rough road to succeed, but success is possible.
Triplicities are interesting:
1. Querent Acquisitio-Fortuna Minor-Carcer Gain and quick success, but then lockdown/delay/isolation
2. Events in Play: Carcer-Amissio-Fortuna Major Lockdown and loss, then a struggle to build.
1 and 2 sound like the story of a transition from current society through financial collapse and isolation, then rebuilding locally for food production. Generally, a transition away from the same old ways of doing things, then struggling to build things up again.
3. Home/Work/Family; Conjunctio-Cauda Draconis-Laetitia. Not sure what to make of this. We come together, endings, then joy. If we are still talking about gardening, could be a reference to coming together for a harvest that is successful.
4. Friends/Associates/Authorities; Tristitia-Cauda Draconis-Via A sad ending that results in transformation. With respect to gardening, maybe I will be leaving my current line of work to get into farming. Very interesting!
Puella popped up in the previous reading, and there was some inference about a goddess in the first set of readings. Well OK then. I'll ask the question:
3) Is getting to know the interested goddess the best use of my spare time?
I chose the House Chart with Querent = I and Quesited = VIII
Here's the House Chart, with Mothers = Populus, Conjunctio, Rubeus, Amissio;

OK, Well I got Populus in I and VIII, so that looks like a 'yes.'
Not only that, but there are double translations in this one. -- Both Querent and Quesited are flanked by Acquisitio and Conjunctio. Double Company Capitular is also in there, but it seems almost beside the point to mention it.
Take home message seems to be 'Come get to know me, big-time.'
The court is a little confusing.
RW Laetitia - Joy
LW Albus - Wisdom
but Judge Amissio /loss does not seem to fit, unless it is losing my reservations/losing my heart sort of thing.
Also, the Cardines are puzzling;
I Beginning Populus
X Middle Cauda Draconis
VII Ending Acquisitio
VI Aftermath Amissio
So 'Everything/Everyone Ends, Gain then Loss' This is kind of disquieting for a pathway if we are talking about getting to know a deity. Kind of reminds me of the story line of Romeo and Juliet.
I can almost hear JMG telling me, "Why don't you meditate on that..."
--Good advice, JMG. Someone out there sure seems friendly, but there's no need for me to rush into it.
