It's time once again for a 'zero" High-school reunion on the East Coast of the US. Since I now live on the West Coast, the trip to the reunion is no longer a trivial journey. Recent political events seem to be making the USA more and more like a police state. While I generally lead a boring life and have done nothing wrong, it is possible to get in deep trouble for no reason these days. Hence the reading:
Question: Will I get in trouble visiting the East Coast for my High School reunion trip?
Date of inquiry: 09 Aug 2025
Selections: House Chart, Querent = I, Quesited = 9 (because of the long journey).
Mothers: Puella, Amissio, Populus. Laetitia.
Querent: Puella
Quesited: Tristitia
Result: Denial of Perfection
Comments: So the good news-- No, I won't get in trouble on my trip!
That said, we have some interesting features here that are worth a look:
Puella and Tristitia, querent and quesited, are a pretty good description of my last few high school and college reunions-- I go there for reasons of love, but they have always been somewhat disappointing. People you wanted to see are not there, and the ones you do see are not the same folks you knew, because life has happened in the meantime.
The Cardines, Puella, Laetitia, Fortuna Minor, Laetitia, may indicate a happy trip with a surprise at the end (F. minor) but ending in happiness.
By contrast, The Court Story couldn't be grimmer;
Witness 1 and Witness 2 are Carcer, with Populus as judge-- So there is a severe delay there; Locked in past, locked in future, Populus amplifying everything. If the chart said I would get in trouble and I saw a court story like this one, I would be expecting arrest, possibly with a free trip to El Salvador. But that's not what we have, so possibly a severe travel delay. Rubeus shows up in XII and makes me think of drama related to government/regulations.
Axes also possibly worth a look;
In a house chart, the houses opposite from each other in the chart have associations with each other. This is not a well-developed topic for me, but I look at it from time to time.
Generally, you can think of these pairs of houses as 'local-distant' or 'compare-contrast.' So going through the list;
I - VII Me-You, Us-Them, Husband-Wife, Allies-Enemies
II-VIII Money-Death, Treasure-Loss, savings-loans
III-IX Local - Distant, Home-Journey, Neighbourhood-Foreign Adventure, Security-Adventure
IV-X Roots-Prestige, Mother-Father, Hidden-Displayed
V-XI Truth-Denial, Having Fun-Hopes/dreams, Fruit Trees (perennials)-Vegetables(annuals)
VI-XII Professions-Government, Employees-Overseers, Pets-Wild Animals, known coworkers-unknown enemies.
As a working strategy, I ignore the axes unless they contain the same figure.
In this chart, there are two of them;
IV-X Laetitia
Possibly 'Hidden-Displayed' At the reunion we gain joy by displaying again our shared roots. OK, that makes sense.
V-XI Puer
Fun-Hopes; Taking action to go to a party, action on dreams. Nothing too surprising here. V is also sexuality, but at this point a romantic liaison is not something I'm looking for, and seems very unlikely.
Take home impressions:
It's a worthwhile trip, but may involve major delays during travel.
Possible follow-up questions:
"Will I return from the trip in time to resume work on schedule?"
"Would I be better off staying home?"
