In the previous post, I inquired whether my current employer would improve my working situation, in the form of better weekend and holiday time off-- That answer seemed to be 'no.'
Since then, I had a favorable interview with a new company. The commute is a bit further away, but the hours, wages and benefits seem better or at least comparable. I am waiting until my employer gets back in town to see if he will meet the offer of the new company-- But even if the new job looks better, will it be better when I get there? If I jump to the next place, there will be no jumping back...
Next Question: Will I be better off if I take a job with a different local company?
Date: 23 May 2022
Choices:
Querent - House I
Quesited- House X
I chose house X because of its association with careers.
Mothers: Carcer, Albus, Cauda draconis, Laetitia
Here is the house chart:

Querent: Carcer
Quesited: Conjunctio
House IV - Endings: Laetitia
Querent - and Quesited + -- May indicate that I won't get what I am looking for, but that it will work out for the best.
Querent Carcer: Isolation and productive work pretty much describes my nose-to-the-grindstone workplace these days.
Quesited Conjunctio - Meeting people, combination of forces; A good description of my possible new workplace.
Company Compound Querent and Quesited are in Conjunction (Carcer jumps to XI); Indicate a 'Yes' answer.
While XI and VII are Trine to each other, Conjunctio jumps to VII and is in opposition to I/Querent.
Querent is flanked by Cauda Draconis and Albus-- Perhaps it is wisest to bring my current employment to an end.
Quesited is flanked by Carcer and Puella -- Perhaps the new work destination has stable and productive work that I will love, though Puella in IX may mean that it will take a while for the 'love' to get there.
Summary:
At the new workplace, I would be better off eventually, but not in the way I think or want-- So it would be a mixed blessing.
I am still not sure that I will take the new job. It is possible that my current employer will match the better wages and working conditions offered by the new employer (although reading #1 in this series indicates that he will not).
It should be interesting to see how this situation works out-- I will try to make a follow up post, time permitting.
