emmanuelg In a week or so, I will be sitting down with my employer (6 years) to see if I can negotiate a better package of hourly wages and benefits. I suspected that my wages had fallen behind the usual rate-- In 6 years, I got a raise of about 75 cents an hour. Sure enough! I found another employer that is willing to pay me $8 to $10 an hour more than my current job, and with better hours!
Pulling up roots is hard to do though-- Will my current boss match or exceed the new offer? He is out of town but will be back next week, Perhaps Geomancy can clue me in on this:
Question: Will I get better weekends and holidays in my negotiations with my employer?

Selection comments: I had a bit of trouble choosing between VII and X for the Quesited. I think if it was a general question about an employer or other person in power, I might have chosen X. Since I plan to be in negotiations, a form of conflict, I felt that VII was a better choice.

Populus here seems negative to me, since I am looking for a change of my conditions.
Rubeus also seems negative--Not surprising, since my employer is likely to be ticked off that I have located another and better job.
There seems to be denial of perfection all around, so I take this to mean that the employer will not meet or exceed the new, better work conditions.
My flanking houses hold Acquisitio and Cauda Draconis, which may indicate that my seeking for better conditions is at an end.
Employer's flanking houses, Amissio and Rubeus, may indicate that the employer will have anger and regret at losing me-- And this is also not surprising since the combination of tasks that I do at work are complex enough that no one else in the company wants to do them, covering for me on a holiday weekend-- Which I why I have worked almost every major holiday for the past several years.

Witnesses 1 and 2 are Caput draconis, with Populus as Judge.. Seems a strong indicator of a new beginning.
Putting it together:
Looks like I will not be given a counter-offer, and that I am better off going with the new position.
