The central task in Geomancy seems to be in formulating a question that has an answer that tells you what you want to know.  JMG’s recent astrological reading on the US Presidential Inauguration https://www.subscribestar.com/john-michael-greer

gave me lots of questions! 

Question 1: 

Will Joe Biden be inaugurated president of the United States in January 2020?

It is sad that this is not a stupid question…

I cast it to evaluate the house chart, rotated so that Querent (I) starts at X, and Quesited (VII) appears in IV after rotation;

Querent:          Laetitia

Quesited:         Caput Draconis

The court shows Conjunctio and Acquisitio with Judge Fortuna Major.

This looks to me like a big “Yes” with a happy beginning. 

Laetitia I travels to III, so happiness at the local level, and III becomes an extra significator—But IV next to III and VIII next to VII are both Amissio may mean loss or death.

Cardines:

I           Laetitia

X         Puella

VII      Caput Draconis

IV        Amissio

Joy-Love-New Beginning-Loss

Happy beginning, but ending in a loss.

Question 2:

Will Kamala Harris be US President before January 2025?

The answer to this one tells us a lot of what we want to know about the next 4 years.

Again, I am evaluating the house chart with Querent rotated to house X to become I,  and Quesited at IV, which becomes VII after rotation:

Querent is Conjunctio

Quesited is Laetitia

The Court includes Caput Draconis and Puella with Fortuna Minor as the Judge.

Again, it looks like the answer is “Yes.” 

Conjunctio (I) travels to III,

Laetitia (VII) travels to IV and both become additional significators.

Cardines:

I           Conjunctio

X         Albus

VII      Laetitia

IV        Laetitia

Looks like Kamala will do a good job.

The two charts have interesting parallel structures—I am not sure what the significance would be;

I travels to III in both cases, though one is Laetitia and the other is Conjunctio.

Reconcilers:     Carcer and Rubeus – Biden ends boxed up, and Harris ends with drama?

House V:         Rubeus and Carcer--Same as reconcilers, but flipped between charts.  Since house V is the place for crops, rain, fun, sexuality, evaluation of books/ literature, things don't look good in this respect for either of them.

House II:         Puer in both charts.  Foolishness/rashness with money and mobile goods?

Axes:

Cauda Draconis:         XII in Biden’s chart, VI in Harris’ chart; on the same axis.  End of government for Biden, end of professionals/business/health for Harris?

Laetitia:                       I in Biden’s chart, VII in Harris’ chart; on the same axis.

Rubeus:                       V in Biden’s chart, XI in Harris’ chart; on the same axis.   Maybe Rubeus in the sexuality dept for Biden (unsavory past history revealed perhaps?)  Rubeus in the hopes/dreams/friends department for Harris?

Interesting times are coming, to be sure...
