emmanuelg Two psychic skills (at least two) were weaponized in the late 20th century. The first one, known as 'Remote Viewing,' (RV) is more widely known. Developed by a unit of the US Army, it was a formalized systemic way for practitioners to gather information in locations that could be very remote from the viewer, with the option to view the targets in the past or future. Joseph McMoneagle was such a practitioner, and has written several books on the topic.
The other discipline is known as 'Remote Influencing,' and was developed by the Russian Military. Remote Influencing (RI) is a set of techniques that allows the practitioner to place suggestions into the minds of their targets. An RI practitioner might, for example, target a national leader to lead him or her to make policy decisions that favor the practitioner's country.
Whether either or both of these disciplines are being practiced today under the direction of any national government is not known, or at least is not public knowledge--But it would be interesting to find out if it IS being done. I decided to ask Spiritus Mundi about it:

Note the fascinating symmetries here. Mothers and Daughters are the same but slightly rearranged. Pairs in the Nieces result in a completely symmetrical court that seems loaded with Black Swans--
Even though Rubeus is the first Mother, because the rotated chart was chosen before casting, I decided to keep it, since the rotation changes the Querent to something other than Rubeus.

OTOH, no traveling querent or quesited, no other apparent confirmations may mean that the RI practitioners are not having a major effect.

This is not too surprising, as RI practitioners can easily get contamination of their psyche with the personalities of their targets. One RI practitioner reported coming out of a session and making a to-do list for the afternoon on a notepad. "Drop off library books, pick up a quart of milk, kill my wife, do the laundry.... Wait a minute!"
The 'kill my wife' meme had polluted his psyche from his RI target; He had not completely disengaged from the target at the end of the session.
