One of the customers shopping in my store commented, “You had better get some extra groceries laid in soon—Did you see how a lot of the farmers plowed their crops under in the Spring? There are going to be shortages, you'll see....”

May I ask why you selected the fifth house for this? I would have thought the second (since you're asking about purchasing goods).

Similar questions might have been "Should I follow that person's advice?" (third house) or "Did a lot of farmers plow under their crops this year?" (fourth house) or "Will there be a food shortage this winter?" (twelfth house), I think, but I'm not sure how to get the fifth house (children, pleasures, books, gambling, etc.) from this, so I may be missing something!

I was thinking about crops, in this case, grocery shortages. A crop shortage means a grocery shortage. I could also see the 12th house in terms of shortage of cattle, sheep, pigs, etc, or in terms of "will there be restrictions on the availability of food?"to
If quesited is XII, Albus passes to X, so maybe one's standing in the community gains because of being wise enough to store up?

Rubeus in IX and XI is also interesting. Maybe restrictions on shipping food long distances prevents us from getting stuff that we want?
